Worn hands cover my weary eyes. Choking on words that wont pass my lips. Reaching for hands that I can't seem to reach. This is a means to an end. Barely treading water to keep my head above the ocean's surface. Sinking deeper into darkness. It's overwhelming. I feel helpless. I've been searching for light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel of lights. No more glimmer in my eyes. I can't see the end. It's still not over. Hands reaching for help to pull myself out of the water that I'm drowning in. The waves wont dissipate. The tides start to change. I'll never reach dry land. There is no hope.
